Terrorism Hits London

I was in London on July 7th and July 21st. My staff were caught up in the tube stations involved in the first bombings. I know one of the victims. This was not just a news story but a living memory and very personal.

There is so much media speculation and of course 24/7 coverage of events as they unfold it is almost impossible to keep up on this site. I will not attempt to do so. Instead I will add some shorter comments about the strategic questions about a government response as well as what we should do locally to make sure terrorism does not split our community.
