Loughborough Hairdressers Win Regional Award

Loughborough MP Andy Reed has congratulated local firm Bliss Hairdressing after they were successful in winning the regional heat of the Edge Awards - receiving a £2,500 award.

The Edge Awards recognise the best employers in the country offering practical learning opportunities to 14-25 year olds. Representatives of the firm will attend the awards ceremony in London with Jamie Oliver on 1st November, to find out if Bliss been successful in winning the overall national award.

“I have been in touch to congratulate the firm on their achievement. Winning the regional award is a great achievement in itself and I’d like to wish them every success for the national awards ceremony with Jamie Oliver in November.

“I would like to personally thank the firm for all the time and effort its employees put into offering practical learning opportunities for 14-25 year olds in Loughborough, and giving young people the opportunities that they need.

“I am absolutely delighted that Bliss’s hard effort has been recognised in the regional award and £2,500, but I hope that they will be successful in winning the national prize too because they deserve it for all their hard work.”
