Loughborough College Trainer Shortlisted for STAR Award

Loughborough MP Andy Reed has congratulated local Leadership and Management Trainer Andrew Cope, who has been shortlisted for a STAR Award.

The STAR Awards recognise achievements in the learning and skills sector and were set up by the Department for Education and Skills.

Andrew Cope, based at Loughborough College, will attend the awards ceremony in London on 11th October to find out if he has been successful in winning one of the awards.

Reed said:

“I have been in touch to congratulate Andrew on his achievement. Being shortlisted for this prestigious award is a great achievement in itself. I’d like to wish him every success for the awards ceremony in October.

“Andrew has been recognised for the great work he is doing locally at Loughborough College and I am sure everyone locally is right behind him in the STAR Awards. As a community we need to say thank you to people working hard in the learning and skills sector, helping the leaders and workers of tomorrow. I am absolutely delighted that Andrew’s hard effort is being recognised in this way.”
