Responses to Your Lobbying on Bills Before Parliament
In each Parliamentary session we will usually get through about 30 Bills which will become law. in the 2005/06 session it is likely to be nearer 45 Bills. With most of these I get very little correspondence or emails from constituents. However, where I do I will add my voting intentions and record on this page and links to useful pages in Parliament.
Whilst I am sure most people who write or email about a Bill are doing so out of their own understanding of the contents of the Bill and have read it fully, there are others who may have simply been sent details from a particular lobby to make points. Ill try and answer these via this site en masse.
Below are links to the Bills where I have received representation. You may find it surprising of course that most Bills receive no representations from constituents at all unless a lobby group encourages its members to to contact their MP.
