My Constituency & Westminster Offices
My Loughborough office is based at Unity House, Fennel Street, Loughborough LE11 1UQ.
My staff below work in the office.
I also have an Office at Westminster based in Portcullis House.
I also run a part time workspace at home for evening & weekend working.
In these 3 locations we deal with about 500 emails a day. We deal with over 100 items of correspondence a day and about 50 phone calls every day. I receive 40 invitations a day to events. We have dealt with 22,000 constituents and have open about 120 local constituency issues as well as over 100 individual cases live on any one day.

Available. Richard works full time in Unity House - Monday to Thursday. 37 hours. Paid on House of Commons Salary scale - Parliamentary Assistant.
Richard works with groups in the constituency - manages the office, volunteers and is often the first person people talk to. Years of experience in local government, benefits and the police authority give Richard an excellent grounding for dealing with many of the issues we face locally. Richard will often attend meetings held in the constituency when I am at Westminster on my behalf.

Ian works with individual casework with me. Often the first person people with an individual problem will talk to. Ian liaises with me about cases whilst I am away in Westminster and acts on my behalf. He attends my regular surgeries with me and makes arrangements for them. He is usually able to start to take up a case as soon as you phone/ email or write to me without the need for a surgery appointment. Years of experience as a local government Councillor and an enthusiasm.

James started in January 2008 to work with the constituency based team. His main role is to work with local groups, campaigns and self help groups and to communicate my work to constituents through the various media now available - from print to YouTube. Where possible to make this as interactive as possible to build a relationship with constituents on issues important to them.

Available: works part time - variable hours - mornings/evenings/weekends. Currently 16 hours per week. Paid at lower end of Secretary pay scale set out by the House of Commons.
Sarah deals with the administrative backup required to help me function as an MP in carrying out my parliamentary duties. Sarah has worked for 10 years with me - starting life as my PA based at Westminster and the constituency. Now this mainly includes financial administration, personnel liaison on my behalf with the Commons authorities and managing part of my diary in liaison with Kerron Cross in London.

Available: Works full time based at Westminster Office. This is open 9am -6pm most weekdays subject to staffing.
John has worked for me since July 2008. He was previously my CARE intern. He is responsible for managing my Westminster Diary. He issues press releases on national issues, liaising with the media and is responsible for constituents enquiries on national policy issues. He manages the intern programme I help with and organises tours of the Commons for groups and individual constituents. He also helps maintain and update the website.
Other Staff
I also have based in my Westminster Office the following: -
Dave Landrum. Dave works for the Bible Society as their parliamentary officer and works entirely to the Cross Party Group of Christian MPs - Christians in Parliament. He is managed by the Chair of that group.
James Radford. James is responsible to the All Party Leisure Group and is Secretary to the Sports Caucus which I Chair. He is employed by BISL and funded by various sports organisations.
Tom is a CARE Intern. This is a recognised training internship run by the Charity CARE. I agree to offer a work placement and on the job experience for 10 months each year.
Various. Throughout the year we offer volunteer opportunities. These are managed by Richard in the Loughborough Office. We cannot pay a salary but we offer to cover basic legitimate expenses based on volunteering good practise. Please email Richard for volunteering opportunities.
