In Parliament
Keeping up to date with matters in Parliament can be very difficult if you are relying on our newspapers.
If you think something has been said or asked in Parliament please use the Hansard search facilities. Here you can find out exactly what has been said in Parliament. It is usually available from 12 noon the following day.
Below is the link to the Parliamentary Site Index which should give you access to everything you need in Parliament.
On the page you can see a 'search' button. Simply type 'Reed' in the speaker box and find to see what I've said. Or if you want to find out about a specific subject use the search facilities to find out what was said by who and when.
By looking at the 'Research Papers' you will see some of the best impartial advice from the House of Commons Library. Most MP's use these papers as the starting point in the research for a Bill before the Commons.
Early Day Motions
You can also see the list of Early Day Motions on the Parliament web site. Over a thousand are tabled every year and vary in importance to say the least!
