Andy Reed MP today met Developer William Davis in talks over the disputed Woodbrook Road/Valley Road project.

Local residents and Charnwood Borough Council rejected the scheme but the decision was overturned by the Planning Inspector. Andy Reed MP has been supporting residents in their fight to find a compromise agreed for the site.

He said:

"I addressed residents last year and have met the committee again recently. They are not opposed to the redevelopment of the old garage site - but just want the scheme to be in keeping and scale with the local residential setting - and I agree.

"I hope to convince all concerned to reach a compromise and find a scheme that fits in with the residential setting."
