Broadband for Rural Areas

I am very aware that Broadband needs to be rolled out as far and as quickly as possible. It is vital for individuals and local businesses that we can make use of this technology as soon as possible.

It has been disappointing that it has taken so long for BT to upgrade its exchanges outside of Loughborough town. I have been constantly lobbying BT to speed up the process and have backed local campaigns to increase the number of registrations.

I will continue to lobby BT to develop the network to the smaller Wolds villages as soon as possible.
